Women have always worked against a double standard that even today is apparent. Today, a nearly all-male state legislature passes Draconian laws to endanger women in their healthcare rights; allows pay discrimination; and makes the 'glass ceiling' impossible for most women to reach, let alone break.

have always had to work twice as hard for half the credit. Women apologize too much. It's better to acknowledge something has gone wrong and offer a solution.

I will champion women's rights on the House Floor.​
